The first four Feasts have been perfectly fulfilled almost 2,000 years ago at Yeshua’s 1st Coming. And we have every expectation that He will fulfill the final three Feasts at His 2nd Coming with the same perfection!
The first of the Fall Feasts occurs on Tishri 1 is the Feast of Trumpet or Yom Teruah. This day is also known as Rosh HaShanah, the Jewish New Year. Yom Teruah is Biblical; Rosh HaShanah is not – it is a secular celebration.
This is a day for the blowing of the shofar. We as Believers are to hear the blast of the shofar, to remember events of the past (most importantly, what God has done (and is still doing) in our lives), to repent and to pray for the unsaved.
There are several events commemorated on Yom Teruah:
The Day of the Awakening Blast – the Resurrection of the Dead
The Time of Jacob’s Trouble
God’s Judgment
The Hidden Day
The Wedding of the Messiah
The Coronation of King Messiah
We anxiously await Yeshua’s Return on Yom Teruah to fulfill each of these events!
