This week’s Portion, Emor (“Speak’) – Leviticus 21:1 – 24:23 –deals with the Priesthood and the Feasts of the LORD. Continuing our look at the Chiastic Structure of Leviticus, we see the contrast between the Sanctity of the Priesthood here and the previous chapters on Common & Holy; Clean & Unclean. We also see the contrast between the sacrifices (how we can meet with God) and the Feasts of the LORD (how and when God meets with us)!
